Q:

How do I exchange a product for something different during the first 30 days? 

A:

  • Please carefully pack and send the defective item back to us.  You must include your original invoice and a note detailing what you are sending back and what you would like receive instead.  If you no longer have the original invoice, please include a note with your name, date of purchase, order number, and the above information about your exchange.

  • Please include a check to cover the difference between the original item you are returning and the new item you wish to receive.  If your original purchase is on a credit card, you have the option of having the difference charged to the original credit card. 

  • You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product(s) to us.  We will pay for return shipping to you if the weight of the replacement item is similar to that of the original item.

  • Packages returned to us without a valid return authorization number will be refused.  Your RMA is your 8 digit order number followed by the word "-exchange."   Please write this number/code on the outside of the package.

  • Note that some items are not returnable for exchange.  Items in this category include some shrink-wrapped items that we cannot resell once opened and clearance items.  

  • Returned items for exchange must be in original condition and include all original packaging, manuals, software, etc.  Items with self adhesive tapes must not have the protective backings removed. The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

How do I send in a product for exchange or repair during the warranty period? 

A:

For OEM or third party products:

  • Item(s) must be sent to the manufacturer of the item.  For example, a Samsung brand desktop charger should be sent to Samsung at the address provided in the manual.  A Belkin car speakerphone kit must be returned to Belkin for replacement.

For aftermarket or white boxed product(s):

  • The following applies our house brand item that does not come with explicit information for warranty exchange.  Please see our warranty here.

  • Please carefully pack and send the defective item back to us.  You must include your original invoice and a note describing the problem that you are experiencing.  If you no longer have the original invoice, please include a note with your name, date of purchase, order number, and the problem that you are experiencing.

  • At our discretion, we will repair or replace the item with either an exact item or a reasonable functional substitute.  Replacement items will be covered by the remainder of your original purchase's warranty or 30 days, which ever is longer.

  • You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product(s) to us.  We will pay for return shipping (if you are within the US) during the first 30 days of the warranty.  If you need an in warranty replacement after 30 days, please include a check or money order for $5.95 per item for shipping and handling.  We cannot charge this amount to your original credit card.  Products sent back without this s/h fee will not be processed.

  • Packages returned to us without a valid return authorization number will be refused.  Your RMA is your 8 digit order number followed by the word "-exchange."     Please write this number on the outside of the package.

Can I return product(s) for a refund within 30 days?

For products purchased directly thru this website:

  • We will issue refunds, less the original shipping/handling and a 20% fee for restocking, for items returned to us within the first 30 days.

  • If you wish to return your item(s) for a refund, please carefully pack and send the item(s) back to us.  You must include a note with your name, date of purchase, order number, and the reason for returning the item(s).  Please include the original invoice if you still have it.

  • Returned items must be in original condition and include all original packaging, manuals, software, etc.  Items with self adhesive tapes must not have the protective backings removed. The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

  • Packages returned to us without a valid return authorization number will be refused.  Your RMA is your 8 digit order / invoice number followed by the word "-refund."   Please write this number on the outside of the package.

  • Refunds will be made thru the original payment method.

  • Note that some items are not returnable for refund.  Items in this category include some shrink wrapped items that we cannot resell once opened, some OEM products, and clearance items.  This restriction will be clearly stated in the product's description online and in the description when added to the shopping cart.

For products purchased directly thru online auctions or wholesale:

  • We do not offer refunds for auction or wholesale items.  Please refer to the terms of the auction for exchange information if the item is not working properly.

You should use use a traceable method of shipping as you are responsible for getting it to us.  I

  • Packages returned to us without a valid return authorization number will be refused.  Your RMA is your 8 digit order / invoice number followed by the word "-refund" or "-exchange."  Please write this number on the outside of the package.

  • Do not ship items in regular letter size paper envelopes.  The postal sorting machines will usually damage these packages.  In some cases, they are pressed by sorting machines in such a way that items are pushed out of the envelopes.  Please pack your items appropriately.
